I have pain near neck and shoulders. 3 days back I got up suddenly and got this pain. I had 3tabs(Aclozest MR)but still getting pain and specially at night pain is unbearable. Please suggest.

If there's a tingling sensation over the arm I would advise you to visit the ER at the earliest and get evaluated and undergo investigations such as X-Ray, CT/MRI(if indicated) to find the underlying problem and have it treated. You will need smooth muscle relaxant, antacid and topical analgesic The following steps will help: - You can apply a hot water bad over the area to make the muscles relax. - Avoid carrying weights until the pain subsides - Apply heat over the area and then apply the topical analgesic over the area and massage the area thoroughly. - Stay hydrated(Aim to drink 3 liters of water per day) If there's persistence or worsening of symptoms visit the ER at the earliest.
