Multivitamin, ZMA and fish oil daily
I am 26 years old, weight 56 kg, male. I do regular gym workouts (6 days/week) with goal of muscle gain. I am considering taking Optimum Nutrition Multivitamin for Men, ZMA, and Fish Oil. I want to know if this combination is safe, necessary, and how to take them properly. I do not have any known medical conditions.I also take 1 scoop of whey protein daily post-workout.

This combination is generally safe if taken in recommended doses. Multivitamin + fish oil are optional; diet and protein matter most for muscle gain. Please consult for personalized advice and to avoid excess supplementation.

If you're having no health issue. Then this combination is good. But you can always consult dietician

Your plan is generally safe for a healthy 26-year-old male doing regular gym workouts, provided doses are appropriate and supplements are not overlapping excessively. That said, not all of them are strictly necessary if your diet and sleep are already good. • Whey protein (1 scoop post-workout): ✔️ Appropriate and useful for muscle gain • Fish oil: ✔️ Beneficial (recovery, joints, cardiovascular health) • Multivitamin (ON Men): ⚠️ Optional — helpful if diet is inconsistent • ZMA: ⚠️ Conditional — useful mainly if sleep quality is poor or dietary zinc/magnesium is low There is no dangerous interaction between whey, multivitamin, ZMA, and fish oil if timed correctly.
Next Steps
How to take them properly (important): 1. Morning / with breakfast • Optimum Nutrition Multivitamin (Men): 1 tablet • Fish oil: 1 capsule (with fat-containing meal) 2. Post-workout • Whey protein: 1 scoop with water or milk 3. Night (before bed) • ZMA: Take on an empty stomach, 30–60 minutes before sleep • ⚠️ Do NOT take ZMA with multivitamin, milk, or calcium (reduces absorption) Doses to watch • Zinc (total from all supplements): keep ≤40 mg/day • Magnesium (from ZMA): usually safe • Fish oil: 1000–2000 mg EPA+DHA/day is enough
Health Tips
• Supplements cannot replace calories — muscle gain still depends on: • Slight calorie surplus • Adequate carbs • Sleep (7–8 hours) • If sleep is already good → ZMA may not add much benefit • If diet includes fruits, vegetables, eggs, dairy, nuts → multivitamin can be skipped or used alternate days • Avoid adding pre-workouts or fat burners unnecessarily

No medicinal condition  so why soo many supplement. Protein is there to built muscle.  You can use natural  protein like  bhuna Chana  banana  milk with dates churn  them n consume regularly u get best results. One multivitamin is sufficient or fish oil.

If you are o.k. with no health issues, no need of supplements. Are you underweight, if not then no need to increase muscle bulk. Just keep your muscles supple and strong by taking adequate amt of proteins, carbohydrates in your diet, avoid fatty food, do regular physical exercise.

Hello, in my opinion you can avoid taking supplements. Focus on improving your diet instead. Try increasing intake of eggs.
