Mucousy breathing in baby

Good morning doctor,My baby is three and half months has no runny nose but has some mucous in nostrils n i here here mucousy breathing my ped checked he prescribed ambroxil, maxtra n gutspert for 6 days but still i here mucousy breathing n not cured why
