MRI for knee in Bangalore
My mother has knee pain due to Osteoarthritis since 8-10yrs but suddenly the pain on the knee has increased and she cannot bend her knee even a little. Doctor has advised MRI as her last xray was 7yrs ago. Which is the best MRI center in Bangalore to get this done? Should I go for 3T or 1.5T? We stay near Jaynagar

There are several good MRI centers in Bangalore where your mother can get her MRI done. Some of the popular ones include: Apollo Hospitals - Bannerghatta Road Manipal Hospital - Old Airport Road Narayana Health - HSR Layout Fortis Hospital - Bannerghatta Road M.S. Ramaiah Memorial Hospital - New BEL Road As for whether to go for 3T or 1.5T, it would depend on the complexity of the examination and the specific requirements of your mother's doctor. Generally, a 3T MRI offers higher resolution images and can be better for more detailed imaging of certain parts of the body. However, it may not be necessary for all cases and a 1.5T MRI may suffice. It is best to discuss with your mother's doctor to determine which type of MRI would be best for her condition.
