I've got a mouth ulcer on cheek of lower lip of my mouth for over two weeks now. I broke it with a pressure and it went off for a day or two and then again it has started to develop again
The ulcer or whatever is not otherwise painful only when I try to squeeze it. If doesn't cause any as such irritation but only when I feel it it irritates me.
I'm worried if it is cancerous in nature.
Thanks

Hi .. please do not attempt to ever puncture a swelling etc especially in and around the mouth called as the " Dangerous area of the Face" as important blood vessels etc can be found there! Please visit a Specialist as an examination is any day better than a hundred online suggestions..
It would have been better if you would have posted a clinical picture of the affected area for a better opinion from our side. But going by the description that you have mentioned, it seems that you have had a traumatic injury in the past which led to the accumulation of saliva below the lip mucosa and this condition is called as mucocele. Mucocele can show fluctuation in size when it gets ruptured but that will not cause the healing of the lesion because it is a balloon like cavity below the mucosa surface and it will refill on its own and regain its original size back.
By the progression of the lesion till now you must have understood that it is not going to heal completely and it would be an honest suggestion to avoid delaying the treatment for other before the symptoms like pain start to appear. The only treatment for this is its surgical removal which can be done by any experienced oral surgeon and it is not a major procedure and will be performed under local anaesthesia only.
Regards.
