Mouth Sores from last 2 months.
Hello Doctor! I have Mouth Sores from last 2 months. I am not been able to eat anything salty as well as spicy. I have swelling in my entire face as well from very long time. I am a paitent of Epilepsy from last 3 years so I thought the swelling and sores are because of medicine,I have been taking for the Epilepsy treatment. Plese advice..

Gingival swelling may be due to the epileptic medications. Sore mouth has to be rule out so have an Oral Medicine expert opinion

Good day, Dr Mishra from Dentonomics here. As per your complaint I can tell you with confirmation that the ulcer and swelling mostly is due to the medication. That is common with epilepsy medication. Consult your doctor for change of medication if possible. Also you can go for gingivectomy and treatment of ulcerations at dental clinics
