I hardly get milk if I hand express or pump, but I can see my baby getting enough milk while breastfeeding (by the gulping sounds, frequent urination and weight gain). Why is that difference? Sometimes I am getting confused that if I having low milk supply. Please explain if expressing milk and breastfeeding is different

sucking causes increased prolactin and stimulates the production of milk. if the baby sleeps peacefully after feeding without getting up inbetween each feed then the feed is sufficient also check your baby is gaining weight.
