mild throat pain could be due to many reasons
it could be due to recent injury , infection etc
need more information like redness in throat or mouth,running nose,any bleeding or ulcers,fever associated or not,gastritis may lead to irritation of mucosa
kindly consult so that i can assess properly and prescribe proper prescription

warm saline or betadine gargles
steam inhalation if nasal symptoms are present
avoid spicy and oily food
ginger and lemon tea.
