I've been experiencing mild pain around the anal area for 25 days. I keep feeling like I need to pass stool, but nothing comes out. It has happened twice, and the stool is completely normal - no blood or mucus.i did stool and blood occult test and I attached my report ,everything is normal but in test there is acidic reaction what is this and is it normal or not ,,,, I don't have any abdominal pain, and there are no visible marks or lumps in the anal area. But pain is almost all over the buttock area My appetite and digestion are normal. I saw a doctor who prescribed antibiotics, thinking it might be an infection, but it hasn't helped.please help me what to do next

From your description:
• Mild anal pain for ~25 days
• Feeling of incomplete evacuation (tenesmus)
• Normal stool consistency
• No blood / no mucus
• Stool occult blood negative
• No visible swelling or lump
• Pain spreading to buttock area
• Antibiotics did not help
This pattern does NOT strongly suggest infection.
The most likely causes are:
Next Steps
Since symptoms are persisting for nearly a month:
Step 1: Stop unnecessary antibiotics
They are not helping and may disturb gut flora.
Step 2: Start conservative management for 2–3 weeks:
• Warm sitz bath 15 minutes twice daily
• High-fiber diet
• 2–3 liters water daily
• Avoid prolonged sitting
• Avoid straining in toilet
• Try a stool softener (if stools are even slightly hard)
Step 3: If no improvement → Do these:
• Per rectal examination by a surgeon
• Proctoscopy
• If persistent >6 weeks → consider colonoscopy (rarely needed at your age unless red flags)

Health Tips
✔ Do not repeatedly try to pass stool when urge comes — it worsens pelvic spasm
✔ Avoid sitting on toilet >5 minutes
✔ Gentle pelvic floor relaxation exercises help
✔ Avoid spicy food temporarily
✔ Manage anxiety — pelvic floor tightens under stress
Given your age and normal reports, this sounds more functional (muscle-related) rather than dangerous.
However, persistent anal pain deserves proper evaluation, and a targeted treatment plan can significantly improve recovery — booking an online consultation would allow structured guidance and avoid unnecessary medications.
Your stool report is mostly normal. “Acidic reaction” alone is usually not serious and can be due to diet.
Mild anal pain with feeling of incomplete stool may be due to fissure, spasm, or mild constipation. Increase fiber, drink more water, take sitz bath, and avoid straining.
Next Steps
If pain persists or increases, consult me for proper examination and treatment.
Acidic is normal.
Zerodol sp three times a day after food for 3to5 days.
Anovate ointment by index finger first on buthole than gently push inside anus rotate the finger to cover anal mucosa completely before n after defication two times
I'm not getting your weight and height ratio, is your height is really 11.4 feet??
Acidic nature is not a concern while you are having good digestion and good absorption.
As u mentioned discomfort all over buttock area is might be due to Neurological problem or any infection.
Next Steps
do consult physically in medicine department that would be helpful
Antibiotic doesn't work ,its means no ongoing infection.this pain is due to anal fissure mostly.take fibrous diet and lactulose syp. For 5 days.your symptoms may be improved.consult me on practo for further management and evaluation.
Dear Patient,
Your reports are normal, and an acidic stool reaction is usually a normal variation related to diet and digestion, so it is not a concern.
Your symptoms (anal pain, feeling of incomplete stool, buttock discomfort) are most commonly due to:• Small anal fissure• Internal piles• Rectal irritation or pelvic muscle spasm
Since antibiotics did not help, infection is unlikely.
What you can do:✔ Warm sitz bath 10–15 minutes, 2–3 times daily✔ High-fiber diet and good water intake✔ Avoid straining during stool✔ Stool softener or local ointment if needed
Next Steps
If symptoms continue, a simple proctoscopy examination may be required.
