The medicine you mentioned belongs to a heart-rate–controlling drug class that is commonly used to reduce the frequency and intensity of migraine attacks. In many people, it does not need to be continued once symptoms are well controlled, but stopping should be done thoughtfully. If you want, we can also discuss this through an online consultation and decide what suits you best
Next Steps
Once your migraine settles, your doctor may advise stopping or tapering the medicine rather than continuing it long term. Future prevention usually focuses on avoiding triggers and, in some cases, using medicines from preventive drug classes only if attacks keep returning. Do not stop or restart medicines on your own without advice.
Health Tips
Try to maintain regular sleep, meals, and hydration, as irregular routines often trigger migraines. Stress, missed meals, dehydration, and lack of sleep are common triggers. If headaches become frequent, severe, or start changing in pattern, get reviewed again

You need to check upon your blood pressure regularly twice a day for 2 weeks make chart of it... Consult if bp is high and if it's not related to increase in bp then you can stop it and take other medication only when migrain hits... Identify what caused you migrain and avoid it.... Try doing some yoga to prevent it further
