I can understand your situation,  but you have to stay healthy and strong to face it. Learn to relax physically and mentally. Get blood.p., blood sugar,  Haemoglobin and thyroid function tests done and share results,  for any underlying physical problem,  that can be managed with meds.

What you are experiencing is very real and very distressing, but based on your description, this sounds like a stress–migraine–anxiety cycle, not a life-threatening heart or brain condition. Extreme stress can: • Worsen migraine • Trigger palpitations, fast heartbeat, chest tightness • Create a strong fear of dying, even when the body is not actually failing This does not mean you are weak or that something catastrophic is about to happen. It means your nervous system is overwhelmed and stuck in “alarm mode.” Importantly: stress and anxiety themselves do NOT cause sudden death, especially in a young parent with no known heart disease. Your fear is amplified because you love your child and feel responsible — that is a protective instinct, not a danger signal.
Next Steps
These are the most important actions now: 1. Rule out danger once (not repeatedly) • If not done recently: ECG + basic labs (to reassure your mind) • Once normal → stop re-checking vitals daily (this fuels anxiety) 2. Target the root: nervous system overload • Migraine prevention + anxiety regulation together works best • Short-term support (doctor-guided): • Migraine preventive or abortive meds • Low-dose anti-anxiety support if symptoms are frequent • This does not mean lifelong medication 3. Create a safety plan • One trusted doctor (not many opinions) • One clear plan for migraine/palpitations episodes • Knowing what to do reduces fear dramatically
Health Tips
• When palpitations start: • Sit down, slow breathing (4 sec in – 6 sec out) • Say to yourself: “This is uncomfortable, not dangerous.” • Migraine + anxiety is very common in mothers under stress • Your baby needs you alive and functional, not silent suffering • Getting help is protecting your child, not neglecting her

Hello, migraines are usually not known to cause deaths. Still, I would advise getting it evaluated and treated by a neurologist. Good medicines for migraine are available these days.

Dear Patient, Your symptoms of migraine worsening with stress, palpitations, and rapid heartbeat are usually related to stress, anxiety, and migraine triggers. In most healthy individuals, occasional palpitations and migraine attacks are not life-threatening. They do not usually indicate an imminent risk of death, especially if you do not have chest pain, fainting, or known heart disease. What you should do - Practice stress management techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, or short relaxation breaks - Maintain regular sleep and balanced meals - Stay hydrated and avoid caffeine or highly processed foods during migraine attacks - Keep a migraine diary to identify triggers and manage them proactively - Light physical activity like walking can reduce stress and improve heart rhythm Medicines - Use prescribed migraine medications as advised by your doctor - Avoid overuse of painkillers as it can worsen headaches consult me urgently - Severe chest pain, fainting, or shortness of breath - Palpitations that are persistent, irregular, or associated with dizziness - Migraine that does not respond to prescribed treatment or is rapidly worsening For further guidance and personalized treatment you may consult me on Practo anytime.

Hello , First congratulations on your motherhood . It is very understandable that you will be going through lot of stress each day . And as baby goes your stress will be more in one or the other way . At first if possible take help from others while managing your baby - taking help is not a sin while raising child . If getting help is not possible - then don’t think too much . Just think you are blessed with a baby so that you can overcome all your difficult. Don’t plan your day beforehand - like don’t go by a book , do the works calmly .Whenever you think nothing is going right - just sit with the baby , play and keep yourself happy and smiling along with the kid . Your kid smile has all the magic . Also during this time because of Harmones - you will have many negative thoughts , also low mood . Don’t worry this is not your doing . Speak to others . Share your burden . Now your headache . Most of the time it is your brain which is diverting you from your stress to your headache . Think it as a reset button . Take a cup of coffee and do your most liked work . And if you breast feeding - then don’t take too many medication unless you can’t manage . Migraine headache is mainly stress related . So have adequate sleep , good water intake , healthy meal , stay with your kid . Mainly DONT WORRY , NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN . You will be a amazing mother to your child
Next Steps
Take help in handling household / managing baby . Take good food , adequate sleep , healthy meal . If headache is too much that it is unbearable then take physician consultations- so that they will give you medication based on breast feeding Condition
