Hello, I am 21 years old studying btech. I have been experiencing really low phases . There are times i start feeling numb . I have been feeling really low . I don't know whether it's depression or not. There's no self contentment. All the happiness seems to be superficial. Relationships with friends are also not going too well. Please help

Feeling low, having crying spells, sleep and appetite disturbances, and difficulty in concentration and attention are some of the signs of Depression. Consult a Psychiatrist for a detailed assessment. It is likely with medication and counseling the symptoms will improve. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless consult a Psychiatrist immediately.

Sad mood and lack of interest are common symptoms of depression. Duration has to be at least 2 weeks. Seek help of psychiatrist.
