Melasma-- products with paraben

My cleanser contains paraben, will it worsen my melasma ? Please suggest some cleansers suitable for melasma? As I understand correctly, I have to avoid paraben, benzoate?

Melasma may not respond to your cleanser . Infact harsh cleanser may increase Melasma . There is no sure shot one time treatment for Melasma . Melasma can only be controlled but not cured. A good SPF sunscreen is a must along with lot of fruits and vegetables and hydration of skin .
