Medicine for infants
My son age 4month/6kg is breast feed from birth till now. Paediatrician prescribed vit A to Z, ossopan D, calshine P drops daily. Is it necessary to give him all these vitamins. He is fine otherwise. I am having concerns over all these foreign chemicals going in his system even if I do not consider the probability of fake medicines being circulated through vendors.

Hi. Generally I recommend multivitamin(A to Z) and vitamin D(calshine) drops and sometimes Iron drops to all babies. It improves their nutrition and helps them to grow better. I avoid calcium supplements (ossopan D) unless the baby is low birth weight.
