Masturbation Addiction
It's been more than 7 years and I am unable to quit on my own. Sometimes it gets 8-10 times a day. Everyday it is a battle with myself. 1-2 times is normal, and when it gets bad, I sleep all day and have no social life. My career has been facing many problems due to this. I have been in depression 5 Years ago. I was diagnosed for the same.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Without sounding patronising and judgemental, it is not uncommon for individuals to engage in pleasurable activity, in your case, masturbation, either as a distraction from depressive symptoms or to feel relieved of underlying psychological difficulties. Unfortunately it forms a cycle which individuals find it hard to break from. Although it may be challenging, you would benefit from making some lifestyle changes/routine by engaging in activities that distract you. If problems persist, please consult psychiatrist to rule out recurrence of depression.
