Lower back pain on one side that sometimes goes into the leg is most commonly due to muscle strain or irritation of a lumbar nerve root, often from prolonged sitting, poor posture, lifting weight, or a minor disc problem.
Next Steps
Avoid prolonged sitting and bending forward
Use proper back support while sitting
Apply hot fomentation to the lower back 3 times daily
Do gentle back strengthening and stretching exercises
Take pain relief medication after consulting with an orthopaedic surgeon.
Health Tips
If the pain persists for more than 2 weeks, increases,or is associated with numbness, tingling, or weakness in the leg, you should consult an orthopaedic or spine specialist for examination and may require an MRI of the lumbar spine.
Hello mam …according to your symptoms most likely your are having prolapsed intervertebral disc which causes compression of your nerves in back which causes back in your leg
