Lower back pain
I m have lower back pain from past 3 months doc suggested nerve compression between L4-L5 n diagnosed sciatic as pain from back goes till calf...I took 8 days electric current along with heat pads but no relief...what to do further...should I continue this physiotherapy or meet with orthopedic

Hi sir. Heat pad/swd doesn't work. Ask the physio to do localised ultrasound for lower back painful area, then tell him to use double channel tens means 4 electrodes, 2 in lower back, 1 in upper buttock n 1 in calf for 15 min. Use hot water fomentation at home for 10min at low back, then apply oxalgin nano ointment lightly to low back area.

Ma'am you need to take IFT+US for atleast 20 days. after a week of this treatment exercises will be suggested. Consulting orthopedic doc will also be helpfull as medicines will be precribed with physiotherapy treatment. Avoid forward bending, lifting heavy objects, prolonged standing, maintain proper posture.
