Low platelets and tuberculosis
Hello doctor,on 13 may i had my cbc test done in which rbc and wbc are within normal  range but my platelets are low about 63000. I am also under going treatment for tuberculosis and have completed 2 months treatment so i want to ask do tb medicines cause low platelets count.

Any chronic infection cause low platelet count. Repeat platelet count and continue TB drugs.
