Loose Motions for 1 year 2months baby
Hi..From past 3days my baby is suffering from loose motions we contacted doctor in practo & following prescribed medicines
Zincovit Drops
Enterogermina drops
However the motions not yet stopped can anyone suggest me treatment

Go for a stool test. Give ors and zinc syrup. Stop Zincovit. Look for signs of dehydration and report for number of loose motion. If you find infection features or blood in stool from stool test you can start adding ofloxacin or cefixime Syrup as per wt of the child 10 Mg per kg divided twice a day.

For loose motions whatever treatment is given is perfect.
We can't give anything to small children to stop.loose motions promptly as it can make child s condition worse.
So continue same medicines.
If child is lethargic or less active and he or she is passing less urine than before or stops passing urine then go visit your pediatrician
