When sugars are high ORS will rise her sugars even more and will get more dehydrated. It is better to get her admitted and give IV fluids like NS. And her sugars need to be controlled at the same time of treating her gastroenteritis. Otherwise infection increases sugars and high sugars in turn delay subsiding of infection.
