Hi! Thanks for sharing Divya's symptoms. It sounds like she’s developing a viral upper respiratory infection (common cold or flu-like illness). Most of these are self-limiting and improve within a few days with supportive care.
Next Steps
for Fever & chills take tab Paracetamol 500 mg or 650 mg 1 tab every 6–8 hrs as needed Nasal block Steam inhalation + Otrivin nasal drops (xylometazoline) 1–2 drops in blocked nostril, max 3x/day (not >5 days) Throat pain : Saltwater gargle + Lozenges (like Strepsils) Every few hours for Weakness : ORS / electrolyte water, rest , Stay hydrated, Cold + fever If needed: Cetrizine at night 1 tab once daily for 2–3 days 🛑 Avoid unnecessary antibiotics unless advised by a doctor.
Health Tips
Amla or orange juice (Vitamin C) Turmeric in warm milk Zinc-rich foods like pumpkin seeds, nuts (after acute phase) ❌ DON’Ts: ❌ No cold drinks, ice creams, or refrigerated food. ❌ Avoid oily/spicy food which irritates throat/stomach. ❌ Don’t overuse nasal drops — limit to 3x/day for 3–5 days. ❌ Avoid crowded places (risk of spreading or catching more germs)
