Asked for Female, 21 Years

I took i-pill on 15 march within 48hours of having sex and had my periods from 4-10th march. I had bleeding for abt 4-5 days in march again and then had my periods on 3 April. Now in May i have my periods but the amount is very less as compared to before taking i-pill.

Levonorgestrel emergency contraceptive pills prevent pregnancy by preventing or delaying ovulation. They may also work to prevent fertilization of an egg by affecting the cervical mucus or the ability of sperm to bind to the egg. ,it is taken within 72 hours of sexual intercourse
