I have strong chest pain..my endoscopy report shown la grade A esophagitis lax les(hill gade Il)
What is the meaning of this?. Is this seriour. How to prevent it...only antacid can prevent this

Prevention- avoid alcohol and spicy foods , do abdominal breathing exercise - this may tone your diaphragm and LES
If your over weight - reduce weight
Antacids for your temporary management
If unrelieved u may require further evaluation with manometry and surgery

This esophagitis is due to gastro esophageal reflux disease. You need to take acid suppression medication with prokinetics(which increases the motility of stomach). Follow up endoscopy is also required to check is there any improvement in esophagitis.
