Manage symptoms after Endoscopy

Asked for Female, 35 Years

Hi. I had my Upper GI endoscopy 3 days back . The report is normal but I am feeling a little irritation in my throat also having a sore throat . I am getting low grade fever from 2 days . There is not any difficulty in swallowing food or any other pain other than little discomfort in throat and chest. Please suggest if this is normal or not.

Hi ,yes its normal after endoscopy, Because of erosin of mucosa in throat ,fever might be because you might get fever due to sore throat ,its all normal will heal after 5 days nothing to worry .if needed antibiotics can be taken for sorethroat .
