Post viral fever, knee pain is common. But a few years may be necessary to rule out other causes of knee pain. This may include getting an xray done as well. For these reasons I would suggest you consult an ortho surgeon who will help you with clinical examination and tests. He will also prescribe meds to relieve the pain. I cannot prescribe meds as Practo prohibits me from doing so.
