My mom have grade III vertical tear involving posterior horn of medial meniscus reaching inferior articular surface and root with meniscal extrusion. Grade II signal is seen involving posterior horn and body of medial meniscus. Small parameniscal cyst is seen near posterior horn reaching behind posterior cruciate ligament. Is surgery required?
