Ultrasound Report,
Both kidneys normal in size and shape. They show normal parenchymal echogenicity and cortico medullary differentiation.
Left Kidney measures~ 11.0 x 5.2 cm and shows dilated pelvicalyceal system with dilated proximal ureter. An echogenic focus measuring~ 6mm noted at mid ureter giving posterior acoustic shadowing - s/o ureteric calculi.
Should I prefer surgery or drink lots of water and expect urine excretion of the stone.
