My mother is 52yrs old, living with a chronic typhoid problem since 30 years. We need to give ciprofloxacin every 3rd month to keep the infection under control. Last year she contracted dengue, and since then her knee pain started and still knee pains. How long does knee pain lasts after dengue infection, is there any role of previous chronic typhoid in this? , or has she developed any autoimmune which got triggered by that dengue infection?
