Melatonin is not addicting. By inducing good sleep and reducing stress, it can help in gastritis,  IB S, indirectly.

Melatonin 3 mg is safe and non–habit forming when taken short-term. It mimics your body’s natural sleep hormone and rarely causes side effects—at most, mild morning drowsiness or vivid dreams in a few people. It may offer mild benefit for IBS by improving gut motility and reducing stress-related gut sensitivity, but it’s not a treatment for gastritis or GERD. Since you’re already on gastro medication, the combination is usually fine but should be tailored to your sleep–gut pattern. If you’d like a personalized plan to optimize sleep, manage IBS and GERD together, and safely continue melatonin, message me directly on WhatsApp at nine three two six zero two zero five nine six for a private consultation.
