Will hip fracture always lead to hip joint arthritis and further hip joint replacement surgery? For how many years the new hip joint replaced will be useful if the surgery is done at the age of 41? I had an accident in 2005 & in 2021, I was informed that I suffer from hip joint arthritis due to that hip fracture of 2005.

Hello.
The hip joint after fracture undergoes faster wear and tear leasing yo early degeneration arthritis. Usually the latest hip replacement surgeries and implants lastLast long. The implants last for almost 15 to 20 years based on the persons use. I feel it is better to have a look at your x-ray to give you an appropriate suggestion. And details about your previous surgery for hip is also required.
Next Steps
Kindly provide details of your previous surgery and the x-rays including the present one.
