Irregular sugar level.
My mother is having diabetes and thyriod as well. she has been doing well in the treatment , but from last 4 days the blodd sugar level is consistently showing lower level after meal. 15th may -97 (randomly done test in evening )                         (hence given 2 sweets to eat) 16th may - 100 ( done test in eveningsame time)                            (given 1sweet to eat) 17th may- 83 (As she was feeling exhausted and anxiety, gain perform the test hence found the respective value) now, perfomed a proper pre food and 2hrs after meal test on,18may the results were:- pre meal- 106 after meal- 88 Today on 19th may , she was feeling again the same as day of 17th may , also did vomit the whole food she had for lunch. Therefore again performed the test and found the result as :- 76 ( hence given 200ml ors and 100ml sugar mixed water) please give me proper guidance as soon as possible,as we live in a rural area no endocrinologists or diabetologists are available here.

Hello Have to decrease the dose of the medication which he is using.Medications have not been mentioned here. Whenever sugars are low then give 15-20 gram of oral glucose in the form of glucon D or sugar or candy.check after 15 minutes.if still low repeat it. Decrease the dose of insulin or tablets as per the doctors advice.

To prevent hypoglycemic episode give any food item frequently every 3 hours.
