My mother suffering from insomnia for last 25 years
we have taken her to Fortis where we have consulted with Doctor named Sameer Pareikh(psychiatrist )
He has an experience of more than 25 years.
Medicine he prescribed
ATIVAN 2mg
QUTAN
Nothing works, we followed his prescribed medicines for 5 -7 years
then 2-3 doctors in between
Now, we are consulting with Jateen Ukrani(psychiatrist) with 10 years of experience.
Still no sleep, my mother is losing senses now, feeling more fatigue, No energy.
Medicines he prescribed are
GABAPENTIN 300 MG
OLANZAPINE 20MG
LUMATEPERONE 42MG
CLONAZEPAM 5 MG
TRAZOPONE 50mg

Hiii
So if your mither has such a long standing insomnia proper root cause has to be identified for that and sometimes its definitely hard to treat insomnia but its not impossible and along with medicines , therapy works wpnders
