Inhalation of ethanol IP disinfectant.

I live in Bangalore,among its overcrowded populace who roam about scot-free without any face mask.&this is not all!They mindlessly cough,sneeze or even spit on others around.Since I'm working with a Govt.Office,travel to & fro from home by Govt.Bus,this is the category of people I can expect to come across at the best of my chances!Today on board bus,a co-passenger without face mask sneezed repeatedly on my office bag.As I changed over to another bus,I sprayed concentrated ethanol IP disinfectant on my bag placed on my lap.Sometime after I did this,my eyes started getting irritation.I wore mask,yet the fumes of disinfectant kept passing into oral cavity.Accidentally &unawares,I inhaled this disinfectant spray for quite long thro the face mask&felt strangling sensation in my throat!Oral laryngeal tracts were getting bitter tastes.I kept wondering why it was so despite myself wearing mask until it struck me that while I sprayed concentrate over my bag,my mask also took the spray!Soln pls
