Infection in toe nail

Asked for Female, 24 Years

My sister is having issue with toe thumb. Her nail seems to be infected and has come out 3-4 time in past 3 years. The color of the nail has also become blackish. She has taken some medicines to treat that, I can share the prescriptions for that. But problem doesn't seems to go away.
