Infection in the groin region
Hello,
In the last couple of days I've been experiencing irritation/itching in the groin region. I've never had this before so not really sure what it is.
The entire region has become dark and red and a lot of itching. Especially on the sides which connect to my thighs. It gets very itchy during the night. I was suggested some homeopathy medicines but they don't seem to work.
I was travelling sometime back n I think this things has started since then. Please suggest as to what this is and what should I be doing? Any medication.

Thanks for the query. Fungal infection is becoming an increasing problem due to rampant usage of antifungals. Please see a dermatologist as some extra medications are coprescribed many a times to treat. If needed a simple skin test can also be done. Till then use only OTC anti-allergic medications to control itching. Personal hygiene should be good. Wear loose fitting clothes.
