I have delivered 2 months back. I have a problem with milk supply. I get only 20-30ml milk a day. How do I increase supply..?

First of all how do u know u get 20 to 30 ml feed do. Express after feeding ? If so then maybe it’s enough Is the child gaining weight ?

Tips to increase milk output 1.Feed child on one breast per feed .This ensures that breast gets empty after each feed so stimulus for producing more milk . 2.more the demand more will be the supply. 3.A good normal balanced diet 4. Drinking plenty of water very very important .You will feel more thirsty than normal.Good idea to have a big glass of water before and after feed . 5. Rest is very important . Take healthy food like milk &milk products,leafy vegetables, non-veg items etc..avoid stress,false belief like I'm getting sufficient milk,false doubt like my milk not sufficient for baby,build confidence on u .follow right breastfeeding method..u definitely get sufficient milk for ur baby.

Please latch on the child properly to breast. Let him suck and decide. Whether your milk is enough or no will be decided by how much urine he passes and weight gain. Should gain approximately 20-25gms per day and urine 6-8 times a day. If you still feel it's not enough then talk to your gynaecologist.
