Ichthyosis
I have consulted many doctors for scaly, peeling skin which I've had since childhood. I have been told this is Ichthyosis which is a genetic condition without a permanent cure. Is there a thick moisturizer/ointment which helps to reduce the scaling and keep the skin moist?
I have tried Cetaphil, Oillatum, Atoderm etc but none of them last more than a few hours. It is extremely inconvenient to keep reapplying the moisturizer every few hours.

hello good morning ichthyosis is genetic condition unfortunately it has no permanet cure you have to apply moisturizer again and again.( Aveeno Baby Cream ) for more information you can come to clinic
