Skin peeling near neck area
Hi Dr My baby is 5 months old. We noticed Her skin near neck area became dry rough followed by skin peeling 3 weeks back. We consulted paediatrician and she said its fungal infection where she gave us candid b and dk gel creams to apply. But now we see again skin becoming rough and skin peeling same like it started. We are worried about it . Pls help us why its repeating again

First stop and throw out the ointment It’s sad to see the neck of the child and it’s because of the ointment obviously Use only moisteriser and sunscreen for now .. can’t say any brands here ..do consult to know individualised tx

Avoid candid-b due to steroid content. Dk gel can be used in the neck area. Also moisturization can be done.
