My weight has been increased from 54kg to 62kg after tuberculosis treatment got over and since then I dont understand how do I reduce it again since my appetite isnt balanced and i feel asphyxiation while running fast and stepping up ladders too even now after TB complete treatment. Could it be hormonal issues or in lungs? Bcz ive also sensed that my periods are so heavy with severe PMS too. Help me treat for the same.

Dear Ma’am,
Your concern is understandable
Weight gain after tuberculosis treatment can happen due to changes in metabolism, appetite, and reduced physical activity during recovery.
Breathlessness should be evaluated
The feeling of breathlessness while running or climbing stairs may be due to:
Post-TB lung recovery
General weakness or low stamina
It would be advisable to get a basic chest evaluation (if not done recently) to rule out any residual effects.
Hormonal aspect
Your history of heavy periods with severe PMS suggests a possible hormonal imbalance, which can also contribute to:
Weight gain
Appetite changes
Low energy levels
Homeopathic approach
Homeopathy works by treating the root cause and overall constitution.
In your case, treatment will focus on:
Balancing hormones
Improving metabolism
Reducing PMS symptoms
Enhancing stamina and general health
Remedies are selected based on your complete physical and emotional picture, so individualized treatment is important.
Your condition is completely manageable with the right approach. I would suggest a detailed consultation with a qualified homeopathic doctor for proper case-taking and personalized treatment.
Wishing you good health 🌿
Health Tips
Start with light exercise like walking or yoga (avoid overexertion initially)
Take balanced, home-cooked diet
Maintain proper sleep
Avoid stress as much as possible
Hi, I completely understand your concernâafter going through tuberculosis treatment, your body takes time to rebalance, and the changes youâre experiencing can feel confusing and frustrating.
From what youâve described:
Weight gain from 54 kg to 62 kg
Breathlessness on exertion (running, climbing)
Increased appetite imbalance
Heavy periods with severe PMS
These are not uncommon after TB recovery, and can be due to a combination of:
Metabolic changes after prolonged illness
Reduced lung capacity or post-infection weakness
Hormonal imbalance (which may explain heavy periods + PMS)
General body deconditioning
Your symptoms donât necessarily mean something serious, but they do indicate that your body is still in a recovery + imbalance phase, especially involving hormones + respiratory strength + metabolism
What needs to be evaluated
Basic blood work (Hb, thyroid, iron levels)
Lung function (if breathlessness persists)
Hormonal balance (based on menstrual symptoms)
How homeopathy can help
In my clinical experience, such cases respond very well to individualized homeopathic treatment, where we:
Regulate appetite and metabolism naturally
Support lung recovery and improve stamina
Balance hormones to reduce heavy bleeding and PMS
Improve overall energy and fitness
The goal is not just weight loss, but bringing your body back into balance after TB.
At 26, your body has a very good healing capacityâwith the right treatment, this can be reversed gradually and safely.
Since your symptoms involve multiple systems (lungs + hormones + metabolism), itâs best to take a holistic approach rather than isolated treatment.
You can connect with me for a detailed consultationâI will guide you step-by-step in a personalized and comfortable way.

Yes by taking homeopathic medicine for this you will feel free from the other symptoms also and along with that proper diet and exercise can be very helpful for weight loss
After recovery from tuberculosis, weight gain like yours is usually a normal rebound as appetite and metabolism improve, but your associated symptoms suggest a combined issue rather than a single cause: the breathlessness is likely due to residual lung changes and possible anemia (especially with heavy periods), while the heavy bleeding and severe PMS point toward a hormonal imbalance that may also be contributing to weight changes; therefore, the condition is manageable but needs a structured approach—evaluation of lung function, hemoglobin and iron status, and basic hormonal profile, along with gradual exercise, balanced diet, and correction of deficiencies—rather than aggressive weight loss, which could worsen recovery.
