It would be difficult to give an answer as to the cause of your pain in the hand without examining it but it seems that you may be suffering from a condition called carpal tunnel syndrome in which the median nerve which supplies the hand gets compressed at the wrist level. Its treatment involves Physiotherapy and giving nerve medications initially. But as I said you need to see an orthopedic surgeon before we can give a clear diagnosis.
