Hi there young lady... From your history and description, this appears to be a long standing problem and not the first episode if I'm right. Hence, just prescribing a cream for cold sores (that you already may be using) is meaningless. Prevention and precautions have been listed by a colleague as I noticed so won't repeat that either. Should you wish to get rid of this, please connect directly at the clinic since you appear to be a fellow Bengaluruean or if you wish to save and skirt the 3 T's Time, Traffic & Travel, please do connect using this App's INSTANT ONLINE Consultation or an App like Appollo 24/7 linked to this Practo App 🙏 Remember any oral medication should be started as early as possible in the course of progression cycle of this disease assuming it is indeed cold sores (herpes simplex). Some specific test may also be required in Titres and guide the treatment schedule and clearance if so.
Health Tips
Avoid OTC products, home remedies, self medications and Dr Google's suggestions 🙏

• History of fever followed by blisters with white heads around lip and nose is suggestive of herpes labialis (cold sores) or a secondary bacterial infection (impetiginization) • Pain, mild itching, and clustered lesions support an infective etiology rather than simple acne Next Steps • A clinical evaluation is advisable to differentiate between viral vs bacterial cause • Early diagnosis helps in faster resolution and prevents spread to nearby areas Helpful Tips / Word of Caution • Avoid touching, picking, or squeezing the lesions • Maintain good hygiene and avoid sharing towels or personal items • Keep the area clean and dry; avoid applying random creams without guidance Kindly cosult with me via practo for detailed evaluation and treatment
