I got a boil on outer side of armpit

Asked for Male, 25 Years

The boil is reddish and one inch in length. Hard substance is felt inside. It pains, so i am usong pain killer. Its been 4 to 5 days but no sign of yellowness and no opening is developing anywhere on the surface. I have been applying ointment soframycin for 3 days now but no improvement. Please guide about proper medication.
