It appears to look indurated and can quickly evolve into an Abscess.
This is why you have pain... It's in a closed space.
Of course, given your age (38 if accurately stated), further medical history is required eg are you a diabetic or tested for the same or are there any other co morbidities as without this knowledge it is callous to prescribe a pain killer or anti Inflammatory agent.
Also Augmentin in my humble opinion doesn't work much nowadays due to the "Resistance" development in the population due to its over use and indiscriminate usage often OTC 🙏
