Hyperthyroidism
Hi, I'm 29 years, i was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism when I missed my period fr 2 months. TSH level - 6.02 & also polysistic ovaries. I was prescribed Thyronorm 25mcg. But did not yake. I went on gluten free diet , quit non veg , diary , sugars & started jogging and yoga for 1hr. I ve got my periods regular, i.e 3months till date. When I chckd TSH again today - it is at 5.92. shd I continue with diet & exercise or start medication?? Kindly advise. My mom also hyperthyroid, is it due to genes??

Yes if it's heriditary then kids do get it from their parents .. also if u haven't started thyronorm then better u control ur thyroid levels through diet exercise meditation bcoz once if u start thyronorm u have to take it life long .. I have patients of thyroid who r taking Ayurvedic medicines with no side effects along with diet n meditation !
