My wife 50 yrs is a thyroid patient for last 20 yrs. Sugar for last 2 yrs. Medication used thyroid till 2022 was thyronorm 50mg. Last year she was diagnosed for hyper thyroidism and was asked to take medication neo-mercazole 5 thrice daily in addition to sugar medicines. Few days back on regular checkup for thyroid test (serum ECLIA): T3: 1.88, T4: 0.957: TSH(ultra sensitive) is 15.5 which is alarming.. My local physicians has advised for consultation of good thyroid specialist.
