How to remove cotto bud stuck inside ear

Asked for Male, 75 Years

While cleaning wax from my ears with a cotton bud, the cotton bud got stuck inside the ear and is not visible even to ENT specialist and could not betaken out. I am afraid this may cause infection or some other problem . Kindly advise what should be done to remove it.

If ENT specialist could not find it then there is no cotton left inside the ear. Ear canal is not so deep that a specialist can miss a cotton left inside. Probably you are over thinking about it. Still you want confirmation you can get a oto endoscopy
