Your risk of HIV is low. Your partner’s HIV rapid test at 54 days was negative and your brief throat white spots are not typical of HIV.
Next Steps
To be certain, get one HIV 4th-generation (Ag/Ab) blood test now (you are ~85 days after exposure). If that is negative, no further testing is needed.
Health Tips
Do not panic, get the tests done and we can plan the next steps accordingly.

Based on your report, HIV 1&2 is NON-REACTIVE, which is reassuring. At ~74–85 days post exposure, a negative test is a good sign. Condom use + partner testing negative at day 54 further lowers your risk. White tonsil spots that cleared in 1 day are not typical HIV symptoms. Right now this looks more like anxiety + minor throat infection than HIV.
Next Steps
1. Repeat 4th generation HIV test once at 90 days for final confirmation. 2. No need for emergency treatment now. 3. If still anxious, one focused consult helps clear doubts properly. 4. Practice safe sex going forward.
Health Tips
Avoid Googling symptoms — it increases fear. HIV doesn’t present like this. If you want peace of mind, book a quick consult with your reports — takes few minutes and gives clear closure.

HIV-1 & HIV-2 rapid test result: NEGATIVE. This test result indicates that HIV antibodies/antigens were not detected at the time of testing. Please note that a negative result does not exclude recent infection during the window period. In case of any high-risk exposure within the last 3 months, repeat testing after the window period is advised. Further evaluation and follow-up may be required based on clinical history and risk assessment.
