"Medical evidence remains consistent: Since your partner's HIV test at 53 days was Non-Reactive, the risk of transmission to you is statistically negligible. Your current symptoms—throat irritation and mouth ulcers—are much more likely related to your 8-hour field work, environmental allergies, or minor nutritional deficiencies rather than HIV
Next Steps
1.Finality at 90 Days: To end this anxiety forever, you can do one final HIV 4th Gen Combo test for yourself at the 90-day mark. If that is negative, you must accept the result as 100% conclusive. 2.Symptom Management: Use saltwater gargles for the throat and maintain high hydration during your field hours. Continue B-complex supplements if ulcers recur. 3.Mental Health: Anxiety can manifest as physical symptoms (Somatization). If you continue to feel 'ill' despite negative tests, consider speaking to a counselor to manage health-related stress.
