This is a fracture in hip bone ( femur neck ). Please tell how old is injury? What are other medical conditions she has ? Her pre injury ambulatory status ? If 51 s her true age then we can put few screws/ plates across fracture to allow it to heal. Few cases may fail to unite but can be managed Older persons with this injury usually undergo hemi replacement of hip ( uni / bipolar ). No problem of union here.
