High Fever since 6 days + Severe Cough
My Son who is 2yrs 9months old, started getting mild to high fever from 21st March, it ranges from 100 to 104 on daily basis. Thogh the frequency of fever have reduced from 4-5 time a day to 2-3. But the temperature remains same.
He is also experiencing coughing which has now become worst. And even the mucus flowing from nose is quite yellow and think.
We did his CBC and CRP twice, both the test have worsen, CRP is 48.
His pediatrician says it seems Adenovirus and it takes time to cure also have now suggested a rsp viral PCR.
Can anyone help if it's going in the right direction.
My child suffers from speach delay so he isn't even able to convey his pain.
